Insulated – Fluid Category 5, AB Air Gap Break Tanks
Insulated water tanks are designed for use where temperature regulation is key to prevent overheating or freezing of liquids. The 25mm foam insulation jacket is engineered to prevent condensation and effectively reduce thermal and energy loss. Insulated Fluid Category 5 tanks are also known as CAT 5 booster set tanks.
Category 5, AB air gap break tanks are required when a tank is connected to the public water supply and therefore must comply with Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999 in England and Wales and the technically identical Scottish Water Byelaws.
All Enduramaxx Cat5 AB air gap break insulated tanks can be linked in series with standard insulated tanks and can be used for food, agriculture, chemical and industrial purposes. Tanks over 45,000L are suitable as fire sprinkler tanks.
As Water Regulations solution specialists, we supply a full range of AB Air Gap Break Tank tanks that provide backflow protection for Fluid Category 5 risks. These are fluids that represent a serious health risk due to the concentration of pathogenic organisms or highly toxic or radioactive substances present within them. Colour Options
Tanks in colour options other than black, such as blue, natural, and dark green, are considered as bespoke items and are non-refundable. Similarly, non-standard outlets are also non-refundable.
N.B. All insulated tanks are covered by the Enduramaxx standard 2 year warranty. The extended 10 year warranty option is not available on any insulated tank.
