INSULATED WATER TANKS

Enduratank’s range of Insulated Water Tanks is designed for use where temperature regulation is key and the prevention of overheating or freezing of liquids paramount. The tanks are available in 27 different capacities from 150 litres up to 30,000 litres. These single skin self-supporting plastic tanks are tough, durable, impact resistant and suitable for the storage of a wide range of liquid chemicals. Foam is applied at the time of the tank’s manufacture and is also an available option on our Caustic Soda Tanks.

Insulation comprises the following features:

  • Closed-cell structure providing a built-in vapour barrier
  • Low maintenance and repair costs
  • Insulation is UV resistant for outdoor use
  • Thermal conductivity value ?40 °C ? 0.042 W/(m • K)
  • Minimum energy loss through low thermal conductivity
  • Insulation available in 13mm thickness
  • UK manufactured

INSULATION PERFORMANCE TABLES

Please note: The figures quoted within these tables presume that each tank is full to its capacity and the contents is stationary water. The thickness of insulation in each case is 13mm and the ambient air temperature is constant throughout.
