Chemical Day & Bund Tanks
Chemical day & bund tanks for holding chlorine & pH correction chemicals in solution, prior to dosing into the swimming pool or spa bath. Chemical day tanks are suitable for all chemicals used for swimming pool and spa bath water treatment.
Day Tanks
These day & bund tanks are generally installed on automatic systems to ensure the water quality is continuously monitored and a suitable dose of chemicals is supplied. These chemicals need to be stored in chemical tanks and bunds to ensure safe storage of the chemicals.
Ideally, each chemical is stored as far away as is reasonably practical from all other chemicals, in a clearly marked and defined area. These tanks are manufactured from uv stabilised polyethene making them suitable for sodium hypochlorite.
Bund Tanks
These dosing tanks are available from 50 litres up to 1000 litres with plastic moulded bunds. The bunds and tanks are available in black, natural, blue, green and red to designate different chemicals. There is a range of low wide bunds as well as narrow space-saving bunds with lids if required.
The flat area on top of the tank can be used for dosing pumps and mixers.
